The NSU M.D. College is actively seeking full-time faculty members, along with clinical sites and preceptors to help us train the next generation of physician leaders.

Problem-based learning (PBL) Case Director (1 open position)

Faculty member will oversee the design and delivery of Problem Based Learning (PBL) cases throughout the first two years of an integrated case-based curriculum, sequenced by system, with foci on research, genomics, inter-professional collaboration, biomedical informatics and leadership. The successful candidate will assist with LCME accreditation and engage in innovative scholarship and research to advance medical education and/or medical knowledge.

Problem-based learning (PBL) Facilitator (7 open positions)
Each faculty member will be responsible for directing at least one interdisciplinary block (fundamentals, hematology, neurological sciences/musculoskeletal, cardiovascular/pulmonary/renal, gastrointestinal/nutrition, endocrine/reproductive, psychiatry/behavior/prevention over the lifecycle) and facilitating problem based learning groups. Faculty will participate in the planning and implementation of the M.D. College’s medical education program, which features an integrated case-based curriculum, sequenced by system, with foci on research, genomics, inter-professional collaboration, biomedical informatics and leadership. The successful candidates will assist with LCME accreditation and engage in innovative scholarship and research to advance medical education and/or medical knowledge.

Physician Educator (3 open positions)
Each physician educator will be responsible for directing one of the clinical skills courses, Practice of Medicine I, II, or III in the first two years of an integrated case-based curriculum, sequenced by system, with foci on research, genomics, inter-professional collaboration, biomedical informatics and leadership. The successful candidates will assist with LCME accreditation and engage in innovative scholarship and research to advance medical education and/or medical knowledge.
