Alyssa K. Eason joined NSU MD in 2017 and currently serves as Director of Student Licensing and Credentialing, ensuring the integrity of student academic records, adherence to college policies, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Prior to assuming her current role, she served as Executive Assistant and was the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies, ensuring administrative functions for the college ran smoothly during the LCME accreditation process.

Eason has extensive experience in higher education, operations, and finance. She has held several positions since joining NSU in 2008. Her duties included providing students and staff support for financial aid and providing high-level personalized administrative support to the executive team. In these roles, she focused on enhancing the student experience and providing superior customer service with every interaction. Eason was one of four "Staff Person of the Year" finalists for NSU’s 2018 Student Life Achievement Awards, also known as the STUEYS.  According to the award criteria, she distinguished herself for exemplyfying NSU’s eight core values.

Prior to joining NSU, Eason served as an operations manager and finance specialist at multiple financial institutions. Her primary focus was to manage both raw materials and personnel.

Eason earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts/sociology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, Master of Science degree in human resource management from NSU, and Doctor of Education degree in organizational leadership from NSU.
