Dr. Nikette A. Neal joined the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine in 2018 and serves as an Assistant Professor and Course Director. She will also be facilitating problem-based learning (PBL) sessions and assisting with teaching students practical skills in the Practice of Medicine course.

Dr. Neal was born and raised in South Florida. She completed her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Microbiology at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, graduating from the Burnett Honors College. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University and completed her residency training at University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas.

Dr. Neal is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to her role at NSU MD, Dr. Neal also works as a pediatrician in a local group practice. She is committed to combating health disparities in her community and abroad and has both organized and taken part in several medical mission trips dedicated to this cause.

Dr. Neal’s research interests include quality improvement and child safety projects.
