Dr. Payne-Jameau joined the College of Allopathic medicine in 2017. She works with pre-clinical medical students to ensure they have a solid foundation in scientific knowledge integrated from a clinician perspective.

Dr. Payne-Jameau believes that a diverse and compassionate physician workforce, committed to ending socioeconomic health disparities, is critical to the future of health care.

Dr. Payne-Jameau completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Nebraska. She holds a Master of Public Health from Florida International University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
