Professional Licensure Disclosure Statement: Nova Southeastern University's Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine (NSU MD) Doctor of Medicine Program is an LCME accredited program of study. Graduation from an LCME accredited college of medicine is required to begin training in an ACGME accredited residency program to which he or she has been accepted, and to take the USMLE Level 3 examination. We have determined that the NSU MD program meets the educational degree completion requirements for licensure in all 50 states. It is nonetheless strongly encouraged that students determine any additional requirements for licensure in the state in which they seek to be licensed. Students should refer to their state licensing bodies, as well as, the Federation of State Medical Boards or Physician Licensing Service, for requirements for licensure.
