Transcript Records Request

Academic Records, Certifications, and Verifications

You may request an official transcript through SharkLink. After entering your SharkLink ID and password, click on the left-hand side "My Academics" navigation bar > "I Would Like To. . ." > Transcripts/CAPP Degree Evaluation. This process allows you to request and pay for the transcript online.

  • Generally, transcripts are processed within one (1) business day of receiving your request.

  • For standard U.S. mail, please allow up to 10 days for delivery.

  • If a student requests a transcript be mailed to him/her directly, be aware that student’s name and address will appear as the one it was "Issued to."

  • You can check on transcript processing status through the online system (after you’ve made the request). If you do not have a password, visit the My NSU Identity page.

Experience a Problem?

If you are unable to request the transcript through the online process, you may email the Nova Southeastern University Registrar or call (954) 262-7255 for assistance.

Fees

There is a $10 charge per official transcript. For online requests, payment is made by credit card. If you are submitting the Transcript Request Form, you must enclose a check with the form or indicate your credit card authorization on the document.

There is no cost to an individual who needs an NSU official transcript sent internally to a specific department within NSU. Two examples of this would be for admissions purposes or for OHR use.

For overnight Domestic Express delivery, the fee is $19.00, which includes one transcript. Within the same delivery, you may request additional transcripts for an extra charge of $10.00 per transcript. The University's overnight service does not deliver on weekends, so please consider this when marking this request. Also, all overnight transcripts must be ordered prior to 3:00 p.m. (ET) in order to ensure same day mailing.

International Express is available for a charge of $34.00 for one transcript. Within the same delivery, you may request additional transcripts for a charge of $10.00 per transcript. Deliveries may take two or more business days to arrive at the destination, depending upon the country to which it is being delivered.

Students can view/print an unofficial transcript at their convenience, 24/7, through SharkLink. After entering your user ID and password, current students click on: the Student tab > Records & Academics > Transcripts/Grades/CAPP Evaluation > View Transcript. Alumni will follow the path of Alumni tab > Transcripts > View Transcript. For username or password assistance, visit the My NSU Identity page.

Note: All academic activity while attending Nova Southeastern University comprises a student's official transcript. Multiple degrees or majors cannot be divided into separate transcript documents nor will a student be assessed additional fees because of that. If you are requesting more than 10 transcripts you may be interested in our Bulk Rate Transcript Requests.

Additional Transcript Request Types:

  1. Miami-Dade County Schools Only: FT-1 Form - If you need an FT-1 Form to be included with your transcript request, you may do so through the online process by making the appropriate Transcript and FT-1 choice or by indicating the need for the Form when submitting the PDF Transcript Request document.

  2. Mailman Segal Center for Human Development Certifications: Non-Degree Child Development Associate (CDA) Training and Child Care Provider 10/20/30 Hour Training programs. These transcripts must be obtained by contacting the appropriate staff as identified on the Mailman Segal Early Childhood Center website.

  3. Continuing Education Transcripts: Executive and Professional Education courses, Language Development courses and a wide array of Health Professions programs are available to fulfill continuing education requirements and advance careers. These transcripts must be obtained by contacting the appropriate staff as identified on the Continuing Education website.

  4. Transcripts from Other Institutions: Student transcripts from previously-attended institutions that were provided for admissions consideration become the property of NSU and are considered official only at the time of receipt. NSU does not provide copies of transcripts from other institutions that are part of a student’s education record. In order to obtain accurate up-to-date information and assure that no protocol of the issuing institution is circumvented, a student must contact the originating school for a copy of that transcript.
