Student Health and Well-Being

Medical and Counseling Services

Medical school demands hard work, long hours and laser-sharp focus. Good health is essential to your academic success and professional future. Please don’t postpone important prevention/wellness measures or a visit to our medical center or counseling center, if something feels wrong. Your counseling and medical records are confidential and will be kept entirely separate from your academic records.

Health Insurance

All enrolled students are required to carry adequate health insurance coverage and will automatically be enrolled in the NSU Student Health Insurance plan. Your account will be charged upon class registration for each semester. If you are insured under another plan, you must opt out of the NSU Student Health Insurance Plan by the given waiver deadline.
