Tuition, Fees, Residency Application

The Cost of Attendance (COA) represents your estimated total cost to attend NSU MD for one year. All students receive a standard COA for the 2018-19 academic year.

This amount includes tuition, fees, learning technologies, books, supplies and a reasonable living allowance. The living allowance is based on Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics and factors in housing, transportation and personal expenses.

Annual Tuition

The tuition for the 2018-19 academic year is $54,580 for in-state residents and $61,167 for out-of-state residents. This is subject to change.

Student Service Fee

$1,195 per academic year. This covers expenses, including internet connectivity, Shark Shuttle, RecPlex membership, a Health Professions Division General Access Fee and related costs.

Determining State Residency

NSU MD evaluates completed state residency applications from residents of the State of Florida. For tuition purposes, all incoming students will be classified as out-of-state residents until their state residency application has been evaluated and accepted.

Students who do not complete their residency application before the start of the academic year will not be eligible for in-state tuition or reclassification during the year. Upon matriculation, these students are not eligible for reclassification of state residency, and for tuition purposes, will be assessed out-of-state tuition for all subsequent terms of attendance.
