back on their feet

  • Amy shared that "This book was inspired by the patients she's cared for through out my career and the challenges they face during recovery after injury or surgery. It combines years of clinical experience, real-world cases, and strategies to help healthcare providers improve recovery and restore independence in the skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. This book will help those who have families residing in this particular setting. You have to be their voice and advocate. Writing a book while balancing work, family, and everyday life was one of the most challenging and rewarding accomplishments of my career. I'm incredibly grateful to her family and patients who supported and inspired me along the way."
