Our Faculty and Staff

Douglas Brust, M.D., is a board-certified infectious disease specialist who has devoted his career to medical education and to caring for people living with human immunodeficiency virus  (HIV). He completed his B.A. and Ph.D. at Cornell University and earned his M.D. from Columbia University. Brust then trained in internal medicine at Harvard University. After residency, he pursued fellowship training in infectious diseases at the National Institutes of Health. He has served on the faculty at Columbia University and at the Florida State University Primary Care Residency Program in Fort Myers. Brust has published numerous scientific papers and has received multiple academic honors, including Fulbright and Howard Hughes scholarships.
