Our Faculty and Staff

Stacie Gopal, DMS, MPAS, PA-C, CHC serves as the Medical Director and adjunct faculty for the Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant Program. She joined Nova Southeastern University in 2015 and brings extensive clinical, educational, and leadership experience to her role. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University in Pennsylvania. Clinically, she worked in physical medicine and rehabilitation, cardiology, and urology. She later became a guest lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh, where she first developed a passion for teaching physician assistant students.

Gopal went on to earn a Doctor of Medical Science degree with a concentration in education from Butler University. She also serves as adjunct faculty for the Doctor of Medical Science program at Arkansas Colleges of Health Education and is a certified health and wellness coach. She has a strong passion for the written word and is currently in the process of publishing her book, Embracing BRCA, a supportive handbook for women with a genetic predisposition to cancer. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and three children, playing with their two quirky rescue dogs, and exploring national parks.
