Dr. Stacie Gopal is an adjunct faculty member who joined Nova Southeastern University in 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University in Pennsylvania. Clinically, she worked in physical medicine and rehabilitation, cardiology, and urology. She later became a guest lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh, where she first developed a passion for teaching physician assistant students. Dr. Gopal went on to earn a Doctor of Medical Science degree with a concentration in education from Butler University.
She has a strong passion for the written word and is currently in the process of publishing her book, Embracing BRCA, a supportive handbook for women with a genetic predisposition to cancer. Dr. Gopal is also a certified health and wellness coach. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Together, they enjoy playing with their quirky rescue dogs and exploring the unparalleled beauty of national parks.
