Melissa Jomsky
Melissa's story embodies the spirit of resilience. She grew up struggling for even the basics, but these limitations provided the motivation she needed to succeed. And NSU MD’s Master of Biomedical Sciences program offered her a path into the M.D. program.
Darisel Rodriguez
Through a mentor, Darisel was able to develop a plan to apply and be accepted at NSU MD. Now a fourth-year medical student, she aims to specialize in general surgery.
Luiza Serrano
Luiza’s journey took her from Brazil, to Minnesota, to Florida. Her determination, along with support from mentors and her parents, gave her a strong foundation that led to her acceptance into the M.D. program. Now Luiza is excelling as a researcher.
