Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine (NSU MD) does not discriminate against any person because of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity, age, non-disqualifying disability, religion or creed, or national or ethnic origin.

NSU MD admits students of any race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity, age, non-disqualifying disability, religion or creed, or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school, and does not discriminate in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

The university, in compliance with the spirit of various federal and state laws (e.g., Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and other similar state and federal statutes or regulations, including the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act and the Violence Against Women Act of 1994), is committed to adopting a policy and fostering an environment where no individual may threaten the health, safety, and welfare of a member of the university community, including any person on university property or at a university-sponsored or -supervised activity, through the commission of an act of sexual misconduct.
