Donald D. Pritchett, Jr. joined NSU MD in June 2017, bringing more than 13 years of enrollment management and student affairs expertise to the team.

Prior to joining NSU, Pritchett served as the executive assistant dean of enrollment management & administration at Albany Medical College (AMC) in upstate New York, providing oversight and leadership for AMC’s Admissions and Student Records offices. During his tenure at AMC, he was instrumental in expanding the national blueprint for the medical college, and promoting and cultivating diversity throughout the institution.

Pritchett initially honed his enrollment management training in the realm of legal education, serving in roles including director of recruitment for Penn State Law, and assistant director of admissions at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. In addition to his administrative experience, Pritchett has served as an adjunct professor at the University of the District of Columbia, Howard University, Texas Southern University, and Albany Law.

A true “DMV” native (D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia), Pritchett lived in all three regions at various times during his formative years. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, a M.S. in Criminology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, and a J.D. from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
