Harvey Hines, M.S.

Originally from Jamaica, Harvey migrated to the United States as a teenager and lived in Miramar Florida where he attended Miramar High School. After graduating High School, he attended Florida International University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Harvey started his career at NSU in 2014 as a Financial Aid Counselor working in the Scholarships and State Grants department located within the Enrollment and Student Services department. In addition to working at NSU, he also attended the College of Computing and Engineering earning a master’s degree in Cyber Security. After 4 years as a counselor, Harvey was promoted to the Associate Director where he worked for the past 4 years.

Now, Harvey is the new Director of Student Records and Operations for the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine. He is very excited to be part of this College and for the chance to work with all the wonderful people who have worked so hard to build such a successful program in such a short time.
