Dr. Ross Osborn is a board-certified family medicine/sports medicine physician, who specializes in lifestyle medicine. He founded The Center for Health and Sports Medicine in 2010 with a practice vision to improve the lives of patients through a comprehensive lifestyle program.
Dr. Osborn received his undergraduate degree in Biology from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. During his time there, he was a 4 year varsity letterman in tennis and was twice an Academic All-American.
Dr. Osborn attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, graduating in 2002. He did his residency training in family medicine at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. He then completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Osborn founded the Center for Health and Sports Medicine in June 2010 and has grown the practice into two locations with multiple providers. The practice delivers primary care, sports medicine and a medically supervised wellness program, combining education, exercise and nutrition to a health based outcome to our patients.
Dr. Osborn is recognized as a fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. He serves as the medical director for the athletic training program at the University of North Florida and has previously served as the medical director for the Nova Physician Assistant Program in Jacksonville. He is a team physician for Flagler College and Bartram Trail High School. He is past president of the St John’s County Medical Society.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Osborn enjoys woodworking, playing guitar, cooking and weight lifting. He is married to his wife Louise and has 4 children. His personal motto is “Today I Will Do What Others Won’t, So Tomorrow I Can Accomplish What Others Can’t”. His spirit animal is Kung Fu Panda.
