Advising

Upon matriculating into the M.B.S. program, you will be matched with an advisor. Our advisors have years of experience advising and mentoring pre-health professions students, like you. Your advisor will work with you on time management, academic success, study skills, professional advancement, and health professions preparation. While you are assigned an advisor, you also have access to mentoring and advising from any member of the M.B.S. program office or NSU faculty member.

Program Support

Each new M.B.S. student is matched with a current M.B.S. student. Your mentor will act as a touch point for program information, study guidance and wellness.

Our SmartSharks program is a student-developed, student-run service that offers free tutoring for all M.B.S. courses. M.B.S. students who were successful in designated course will offer you reviews, study strategies and guidance.

As an NSU Student, you will access to the Center for Student Counseling and Wellbeing through NSU’s clinical partner Henderson Behavioral Health, a leader in behavioral healthcare providing comprehensive, recovery-focused services and is accredited at the highest level for Student Counseling Services by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
