As part of orientation and throughout the curriculum, Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine's (NSU MD) Student Success and Learning Excellence provides services and resources that help students thrive. Examples of support include:

• Test-taking strategies and test anxiety support
• Note-taking support
• Study strategies and methods
• Learning style preferences
• Time management and organizational skills
• Prioritization of tasks to reduce stress
• Procrastination solutions
• Resources for STEP and SHELF exams
• Connecting students to the Peer-to-Peer PALS tutoring program
• Referring students to other services on campus such as counseling or other student support offices
