Dr. Ditchek completed his radiology residency at The New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year, and then completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at NYU Medical Center. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology at MIT and then attended Cornell University for medical school.

 

A native of South Florida, Dr. Ditchek returned to the area in 2001 and has been a full-time clinical radiologist for the Memorial Healthcare System in South Broward County, serving as the Chief of Body Imaging for 20 years. He has a passion for teaching medical students, residents, and clinical healthcare providers, all that they need to know about the complex field of medical imaging, and he serves as the Chief of Radiology Education and Medical Student Clerkship Director for his practice and medical center. He is also the radiology liaison to the Level-1Trauma Center at Memorial Regional Hospital
