Lee B. Pravder, M.D.

Dr. Lee Pravder joined the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine in 2017 as Clinical Assistant Professor. He was born and raised in South Florida and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami (UM) Leonard School of Medicine. He went on to do his general psychiatry residency and child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the UM/Jackson Memorial Hospital where he served as Chief Fellow. He has been in the private practice of psychiatry since 1995. In addition to focusing on psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, he is the Director of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) services at Aventura TMS & Centre for Counseling of Aventura. He is an inaugural faculty member for the upcoming Psychiatry Residency Program at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, where he has served as both Chief and Vice-Chief of Psychiatry. Prior to this he was the Chairman of Adolescent Behavioral Health at Memorial Regional Hospital/Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. Dr. Pravder is Board Certified by both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the fields of General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
