Annessa S. Kalloo, Esq. has dedicated her career towards service in higher education and student advocacy.
Most recently, she managed the admission recruitment for the health sciences programs at St. Petersburg College. Previously, she served as the head of admissions for Barry University College of Law where she improved the institution’s national accreditation, increased revenue, facilitated innovative programs, effectuated new procedures to help the college comply with new regulations, and improved the school’s national ranking for diversity. As an administrator, she oversaw the operations of student services for all incoming students by guiding them through orientation, registrar, financial aid, and advising them through their academics and curriculum.
Previously, Ms. Kalloo was a consultant for VOYlegal, LLC protecting newly graduated students’ rights by ensuring fairness and equity in their new employment. In 2012, Ms. Kalloo created ASK Annessa, PLLC, a non-profit foundation focused on advocating for and counseling underprivileged students through mediation, contract negotiation, and litigation. Ms. Kalloo also served as an attorney for a Presidential campaign where she recruited legal professionals and worked on Florida election laws.
Ms. Kalloo earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2008 and a double Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Maryland in 1998.
